artist statement
Harrison Pond (he/him) grew up on a farm in central Virginia with an enjoyment for stories. Whether it be book trilogies or movie series, he enjoyed becoming engrossed in fiction. The ability of visual media to envelope one’s thoughts and allow them to enter a different realm is the essence of his curiosity. Currently, most of his works are digital with some oil paintings and drawn pieces incLUDed. All of these take place in fictional settings of his own creation. Harrison graduated from virginia tech with a bfa and is creating a few small businesses and furthering his art career.
